This is a course for those students who have arrived recently in New Zealand and who need support with their English to access the New Zealand Curriculum. The course will be a practical course with visits to the school garden, the local library as well activities in the classroom to build on oral language as well as written language.
Term 1
Courses throughout the year will be decided by current points of topic and interest as well as student interest. Some previous topics have included weather and climate, ourselves and others (describing), water safety and safety in the home.
