Language Department: Tena koutou katoa and Welcome to our Language Department
Tena koutou katoa, Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Kia orana koutou katoatoa, Nǐ hǎo and Greetings to you all. In our Language Department, we teach five languages as follow: Te Reo Maori, Te Reo Kuki Airani, Lea Faka Tonga, Gagana Samoa and Mandarin language. It is compulsory for all Junior levels to take a language of their choice for two years in Year 9 and Year 10. Then, it will be an option for NCEA senior levels. Therefore, students will select a language course of their choice from Year 11 to Year 13- NCEA LEVELS. All our Language courses are approved subject for University Entrance.
