Course Description

This advanced BCT course gives students the opportunity to continue to develop their woodworking skills and management of tools and machinery in preparation for employment, tertiary study or an apprenticeship.
Course Overview
Term 1
Undertake a Stage 3 BCATS project Level 3 Unit Standards Unit 29684 12 CREDITS
Students are able to prepare for and undertake a Stage 3 BCATS project and compare the final outcome against project requirements.
A Stage 3 BCATS project is one undertaken in a BCATS environment under limited supervision, using a broad range of tools, equipment, machinery and materials, and involving a range of standard processes.
Term 2
We will continue the projects and skill development that we started in Term one.

The assessment task below is a guide for recording evidence of assessment decisions.
